Enchantress is hilarious!!!
Like really funny.
When we were on our way to our first stop
(more below), we were in a car. Let me tell you it was weird to be in a car! I
felt so cramped!
Of course, that could have been due to the fact that
Enchantress and her (very large) car seat, Emergent and I were all in the back,
with Enchantress and her (very poky) car seat in the middle.
I think Enchantress was feeling cramped
too.
She kept intentionally putting her feet where Emergent’s were. Then she would say, in a whiny voice that only a two year old (and some teenagers) can use, “MOO SHOUR SHEET!!!!!!!”
For those of you who don't speak that particular dialect of baby-talk, I will translate:
English: Move your feet.
Spanish : Mueve los pies.
Translation to !Xóõn: I have no clue; Google Translate doesn’t have it.
That is a real language though!
Finally, after about 5 minutes of this, Dad
turned around told Emergent to MOVE HER FEET!
She did, disgruntled, and without taking
another breath, Enchantress immediately yelled: “Moo shour ARM!!”
Sometimes I’m not really sure I named her
right. Sometimes she’s more exasperating than enchanting.
Anywho, Encumbered, Employed, myself,
Emergent, and Enchantress rolled out very early this morning, at around 7:30
(5:30 to those of you in my home time zone).
We had to run to make it to a 9:15 tour of
the Capital Building. Which I loved. I really love D.C. I think it is my
favorite of all the cities I’ve been to (My hometown doesn’t count).
Ford’s Theater was the stop we went to
after the Capital Building.
I especially loved the museum here. It was
the only one so far that I actually got to spend as much time as I wanted
reading (the rest of the family was asleep by the time I finished).
We saw something incredible.
When we walked out, we saw a pile of books,
all of them written about Abraham Lincoln!
When I say a pile, I mean a PILE!
Crazy!! Right?!? |
Then we went through a Smithsonian; the Natural History one.
I wish I had years and years to go through them all!
