It is so hard to believe that THE TRIP starts tomorrow. We have talked and planned and dreamed for so long that it doesn't seem real that we leave tomorrow.
It was such a beautiful day today. I went up to the church an hour before anyone else was there, at about eight, and played some hymns on the grand piano. That was the perfect peaceful start to the day.
After church we went to my Grandma's house for dinner. After that, we had ice-cream. Little Enchantress was especially entertaining in her mode of eating ice-cream. Grandma had about five flavors of ice-cream, and she wanted some of each!! Then when she was finally satisfied with how it was put together, and had started eating it, she decided that the common way of eating ice cream cones was too common for her. She promptly turned it upside down and commenced eating it from the bottom up! That was messy, to say the least. I hope that trend doesn't catch.
Later my Auntie and her two boys showed up. I think I neglected to mention that they will be joining us, Auntie for the whole trip, and her boys for two weeks.
That means that more introductions are in order. My dad suggested that we keep the 'E' names going and call Auntie "Eligible" (she is single) and her two boys "Extra 1" and "Extra 2". But since their last name starts with an R, and because their are definitely enough 'E's in this blog, I will give them names that start with an R.
To start, my Aunt. She has gone through some hard times in her life. She is sweet and loves little girls (which means she fits in pretty well with my family). At times she can be Resentful, but that is only a cloud crossing the sky. At heart she is Radiant. She loves babies, and ballet dance. She is a massage therapist by career (which means there are some definite advantages to being her niece). She is also (she said this, not me!) Really Eligible! (haha).

Her oldest boy has also gone through some really hard times. He has really bounced back and is very Resilient. He takes ballroom dance and is Romantic (according to him...). He is Rambunctious. He is very funny and has a fun-loving nature. He will be known as Raconteur, and has often put me in stitches with his humorous stories!

Her youngest was younger during the hard times in his life, and so did not escape as scar free. At heart he is energetic, Resolute. He has a lot of energy and sometimes comes across as Rowdy, or Rebellious. He is also Ravenous! (He is, after all, a growing boy) He is Recondite, meaning he is powerful and good, but is little understood. I will refer to him as Rough.

Goodbye for now. I will start journaling the trip TOMORROW! (or whenever I have internet again!)
I love your blog! It is so fun to read and so full of personality. I am so excited to hear about your trip and live vicariously through your amazing writing! Have fun, be safe, and watch out for road kill;)
