Today we went to church. I felt
so much at home in the church. It was good to go
to church again.
I got to steal a precious few
moments on a piano. We ate lunch and headed off to some homes where Grandpa
stayed on his mission (he served in this area of Virginia).
At about 5, we went to
Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s home.
It was fantastic. He has a bunch of
inventions around his house. My favorite was a stand that held five books at a
time, and spun around so he could cross-reference.
We got to see the gardens, the
slave quarters, kitchens, and such.
That’s all!
