In the
morning, we got Grandpa loaded up, and then we got in the motorhome. We drove
quite a ways over to Niagara Falls.
Niagara; the thunder-water.
Words just can’t describe Niagara. It was absolutely amazing. The power of the falls was almost beyond comprehension. SO MUCH WATER!!
We went on the Maid of the Mist down to the foot of the waterfall.
The power of the falls was such that as the water thundered down the falls it created currents that even the huge, powerful engine on the boat could barely make headway. It was so misty and wet!
The river that fed the falls was angry as well. It had some impressive white water, but I would NOT like to river raft on that! Not with the falls at the end!
We spent a while at Niagara, lingering on an observation deck to eat lunch.
Then we drove to Harmony, New York, to the Hill Camorah Pageant.
That is also hard to describe. The cast consists of 800 people. The stage was amazing, the scene changes flawless. The stage was huge. The special effects were stunning, and spectacular; the best I’ve ever seen.
We got home late that night, tired but happy.
